Stargate Log 011: Structure Over Bias, Feedback Over Emotion: A Lesson in Navigational Trust
Stargate Log 011: Feedback is a chance to recalibrate. Shifted to full delta neutral, letting structure, not bias, guide. 96K is the key pivot. Risk is managed by results, not reaction. Navigational trust is built by updating the map. Progress is +1%, not perfection.

Apologies for not publishing this earlier. Wrote parts over the weekend (Jun 21 & 22), just getting back from a retreat away. A gift of apology, sharing one track from my weekend playlist. Please hit play on low volume and enjoy.
Mission Statement
I, StrataTrader, explore the boundless DeFi frontier with one guiding principle: continuous evolution. Just as starship voyagers venture into unknown galaxies, I document my journey so that I can remember my way back. Whenever my predictions achieve reality, I must remain humble and on guard. As I venture into crypto markets I must trust my decisions with an open mind. To see how the markets react and be willing to change course on the drop of a dime. Driven by responsibility, discipline, and an unquenchable thirst for discovery. My manifesto is simple, sincere, and true:
- Accept Full Responsibility for every trade, no market blame, no external excuses. I struggled this week, just in case I was wrong.
- Commit to Consistency, a calm, process-based approach that transcends short-term noise, with risk to reward clearly defined.
- Seek Infinity, an ever-expanding loop of trial, feedback, and adaptation.
Macro Terrain Overview

Field Note:
June is proving to be choppy, marked by wide price swings and a sharp wick down towards the ~100k level. For my short-side trade, I close and exited this week. I didn’t want the stress of position management, while taking a break. I exited break-even before I left. Always honoring my sacred rule of no active positions when I’m away for an extended period of time.
Key Positions Snapshot

Current Snapshot
- Current price: ~101k
- Current Long: ~15% size (reduced by 10%) ~90k cost basis
- Dynamic Delta Hedging (market hedging)
- 4:1 RR Target: ~115k (not reached)
- Short Hedge: ~15% size ~107k (reduced by 10%)
- Dynamic Delta Hedging (market hedging)
Levels of Acceptance
- Bull Zone (updated): Daily closes ≥ 100k; brief 99 to 95.5k probes (wicks) acceptable
- Bear Pivot (updated): Daily close < 96k - exit longs, prepare downside playbook.
- Technical Wishlist: Pullback to 96k or the 200SMA before considering increasing position size. Wait to see how price reacts.
Field Note:
Log Insight: Confronting my fears of losing, dealing with struggles of assurance and acceptance (balance of expectations). This week, I felt afraid. But not enough to be frozen.
This week, I truly felt scared and alone. Going away on retreat, I closed some positions early. Took a swing and broke even. I’m happy to sit on some fiat at this time, waiting to see if my targets achieve reality.
Depending on how strong the market is in any direction, this is a battle. Remember that everyone’s battle is unique to themselves, their identity and beliefs. For me it’s about being right or wrong. When I’m guiding my ship with purpose, I sometimes get bored and lonely. That’s when I start searching for others, who share similar interests and attention to detail. Seeking insights that influence my confidence with assurance and expected levels. With only one objective, minimize collateral damage.
This assurance doesn’t exist. Seeking others to validate my views is giving trust, influencing my thoughts and perspectives. Like giving my purchasing power to someone else. Remember that it is NOT a science, but an art.
Responsibility: Assurance Cannot be Given - Explorer's Navigational Trust
Log Insight: The explorer’s compass is the most difficult challenge to overcome. As a DeFi explorer I must regularly update navigational trust, never willing to increase my risk, without full confidence in myself. We often chart our path in life, with the stars above. Sometimes we’re on track, aligned with the charts. But most of the time, we’re learning by missing the mark. That’s when fear, anxiety, and stress start to appear. Sometimes we are right, wrong, or somewhere in between.
Soaring above the stars isn’t the only form of success, mastery is built through steady steps and daily progress.
Replicating your results is what a StrataTrader must seek to test, learn, and improve. Kaizen is my infinity loop.
Retreat to Kelowna

I recently experienced beautiful British Columbia, but through the eyes of Kelowna. Majestic bay surrounded by peaceful frogs, with clouds of thunder above. I came here seeking connection with others but left here learning more about myself. My values, thoughts and beliefs.
Kelowna spoke to me through these lyrics and verses:
“Unfolding"
I love when you slow down and soften, like that.
You are unfolding now.
The world doesn’t need your shoulders to carry it all.
You are unfolding now.
You are not lost, only becoming.
The path isn’t ahead, it’s already beneath you.
Each step, unseen, still knows where it’s going.
You are unfolding now.
I’ve always been here.
quiet as soil, steady as stone.
The earth beneath your feet is not alone.
You are unfolding now.
So listen,
not to fear, but to the breath within.
It’s safe to let go.
This is where you begin.
You are unfolding now.
Assurance is about unfolding the Explorer’s Navigational Trust.
Life is too short to focus on external things, not in our control. Your sole objective on every mission is to stay open-minded, assess quickly, decide decisively, and pivot when needed.
The masses are always looking for a repeatable science, but only true explorers understand that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Art.
Navigation is difficult and hard. As we chart new paths, we’re constantly seeking confirmation and assurance. But no one can give you something that comes from within.
Life without ambition can often lead to missing out. Living your dream with real experience is what being a StrataTrader is all about.
Consistency: The Lifeblood of Success
Log Insight: Stick to the R:R plan. Stay full delta neutral and wait for confirmation. Stick with 2% risk per trade. The journey to consistent profitability is paved with repetition, not randomness.
Update reward-to-risk RR based on latest pivot lows, set max risk and reload. Updated 2:1, 3:1, and 4:1 RR, to execute my plan. Taking profits along the way is strategy and managing risk. Just in case I’m wrong.
Result: Each weekly log reinforces this habit. One decision at a time, I’m building the muscle of discipline, until consistency becomes reflex.
Continuous Improvement “Towards Infinity”
Mantra: Progress is the only destination. Not perfection, just +1% upgrades per log. The goal is forward motion through refinement, not flawless execution.
Action: Maintain a balanced position with calculated conviction. Portfolio remains in a Delta Neutral structure, designed to navigate market indecision while monitoring levels of retest. Honor risk-reward levels with discipline. Monitor reactions at key zones and wait for clean tests before engaging. If price invalidates structure, exit without hesitation.
Adaptation is not a weakness, it's strategic precision.
Focus: Update Levels of Acceptance weekly to anchor expectations. This week: ~96 - 95.5k is the new bearish pivot. Holding this level in view supports emotional balance and sharpens decision-making under pressure.
Patience: Navigational trust means staying aligned even when visibility fades.
Remain entered with measured risk, not out of stubbornness, but through informed conviction. Take profits quickly and cut losses without hesitation.
Let the Corridor reveal its path; don’t chase direction, respond with awareness.
Stay vigilant against the shadows of greed, they erode clarity and tempt you off course. Remember that patience is not passive, it's the active practice of being present, guided by trust in your process.
Final Dispatch
“The Blade Within”
Navigational trust isn’t something you inherit.
It rises from within: forged, not found.
Like a samurai’s blade, it sharpens in silence,
with every cut of failure,
with every stroke of practice.
Mastery is not a moment.
It’s the repetition of alignment: again, and again,
until the pattern becomes breath,
and breath becomes flow.
For StrataTrader’s,
this flow is not a theory: it is a way.
Infinity isn’t a destination,
but a rhythm we tune into
when we let go of noise
and return to what is steady inside.
And at the center of that stillness,
there She is: the presence we orbit,
the reason we rise,
the gravity of love
that makes the journey worth it.
